VEDFLOX C

Product Description

VedFlox is a broad-spectrum fluoroquinolone antibacterial formulated with Ciprofloxacin for the treatment of bacterial infections in livestock, poultry, and swine. It works by inhibiting bacterial DNA gyrase and topoisomerase IV, blocking DNA replication and rapidly killing susceptible organisms. VedFlox is effective against a wide range of Gram-negative bacteria and select Gram-positive and Mycoplasma organisms, making it well suited for respiratory, enteric, and urinary tract infections, as well as secondary bacterial infections that follow viral outbreaks in commercial flocks and herds. VedFlox treats bacterial infections only and has no activity against viral disease.

Key Benefits

  • Bactericidal activity against a broad range of Gram-negative organisms, including E. coli, Salmonella spp., Pasteurella spp., and Klebsiella spp.
  • Effective against select Gram-positive bacteria and Mycoplasma spp. associated with respiratory and enteric disease.
  • Rapid absorption and fast onset of action, supporting quick clinical response in affected flocks or
    herds.
  • Useful in managing secondary bacterial infections that arise as complications of viral disease outbreaks.
