SULFATRIMVED

Product Description

SULFATRIMVED is a potentiated sulfonamide injectable antibacterial combining Sulfadoxine, a long-acting sulfonamide, with Trimethoprim. The two actives block sequential steps in bacterial folic acid synthesis, producing a synergistic bactericidal effect against a broad range of Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria. SULFATRIMVED is indicated for the treatment of gastrointestinal, respiratory, and urinary tract infections caused by Trimethoprim- and Sulfadoxine-sensitive bacteria, including E. coli, Haemophilus spp., Pasteurella spp., Salmonella spp., Staphylococcus spp., and Streptococcus spp., in calves, cattle, goats, and sheep.
